Brett McQuire is a small town sheriff who just wants what is best for his son. This single Dad meets Samantha Weston when she hires his son to help out on her farm. He is not sure what to make of the woman and even a background check shows nothing on her, except that her farm and assets locally are all in the name of a corporation.
Samantha and Brett have sparks shooting between them from the first meeting. Samantha has her own reasons for not wanting to get into any relationship and the Sheriff doesn't expect her to stick around long enough to find out what could be if they let it. As more and more situations throw them together they find it harder and harder to step back and take a look at the future.
This novel is filled with colourful secondary characters that just bring life to this book. Amy Frazier is a talented author who gives her characters multi-dimensions and turns them into friends instead of words on the page. As Samantha fights to keep her sobriety and helps Mack gain his feet back under him, she becomes someone you want cheering on your side in life. Brett's need to keep his town and son safe gives him the perfect hero status, and while his flaws are noticeable, his good side make him shine.
SINGLE-DAD SHERIFF proves once again what a talented author Amy Frazier is, and adds a keeper to this reader's bookshelf!
