5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have!, 15 Feb 2009
By Mr. L. J. Anderson (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Volume four of this superb series (Come on vol 3 we're waiting!) is as good if not better than vol two.
Ideal for Key satge 2 singing repetoire, Year 6 adore All Warmed Up, a rap to use every bit of their voices, and Changing Channels can be used from reception to Y6 to get children involved in acting out their songs.
Surf Surfing on the internet is a cool Beach Boys sounding song that I've tried with great success.
My only critisism is the male voice on the demo CD, but as a complete package, this really is a must have.
Oh, and if you ever get the opportunity to see co compiler Val Whitlock at an inset or seminar, don't miss out!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Brilliant resource for schools and choirs!, 16 Oct 2009
By Mrs. B. A. McNeillie (Buckinghamshire, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I have bought all the books in the 'Singing Sherlock' series and they are all very good - but number 4 is definately the best. There are some brilliant suggestions for warm-up activities and the songs are really enjoyable. There are straight forward but effective harmonies and some excellent teaching points which can be worked on. We particularly like 'Changing Channels' which gets all the children involved. The CD has excellent backing tracks - good sound and appealing for the children. Best for KS2 - challenging but very effective end results. Highly recommended.
