Raffi is a Canadian children's singer, and having grown up in Canada, this album is a major part of my childhood. Memories of long car journeys singing the songs with my sister, mum and dad, making up new verses for Down By The Bay and using the names of the people we knew for Willoby Wallaby Woo are great.

And it felt like a special club, because none of my friends knew the songs!

Now I am a mum, my 21 month son has already been exposed for months to the joys of Raffi and I hope will grow up with similar memories to me.

Buy this album for your kids - they are songs that adults will love to sing as they are so much more fun than ordinary nursery rhymes!

Raffi is a genius! Every toddler will enjoy his songs. Only problem is that the songs are so catchy that the adults find themselves humming the tunes all day long!

as a canadian i grew up on raffi so i was excited when it occurred to me to buy this for my two year old daughter who loves to sing. it doesn't disappoint. there's one or two bible references which aren't my thing but overall it's fun, enthusiastic and an absolute classic. the songs are really short and catchy and are recorded in the late 70's thus avoiding some of the more annoying sounds of modern kids production. recommended.
