For some reasons, I prefer this record to the recent CD, It's The Bluest Kind Of Blues. It's because I love listening to love songs, mostly ballads sung here by Denny. "May I Have The Next Romance With You" is such a great opening number. The thing I like about Denny is, obviously his deep, baritone voice which had incredible range and most importantly, the sincereity - something that is lacking in today's music industry. When Denny sings even for 3 - 4 minutes, he lives in the song. The superb dicition, phrasing and interpretation of the songs all contributed to his vocal magic. If you are a fan of Denny Dennis or you want listen to his CD for the very first time, then this is a work you'll love to hear.

Nice album by one of the top vocalists of the 1930s and 1940s. Widely known as the 'English Bing Crosby' he deserves to be known for his own natural talent. This album is a piece of recording history with good quality recordings of Dance Band classics. I'm a little biased because he was my grandfathers cousin.
