5.0 out of 5 stars loved it 13 Dec 2011

Format:Paperback
I first bought this book for a friend who is a teacher at school as she doesn't like to say rudeish words infront of her class so couldn't resist!! She loved it and laughed a lot and so did her class. I then bought a copy for my 4 yr old who completely loves it and we have to read it all the time!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious book 7 Oct 2011
By Vik1000

My two year old tom-boy daughter thinks this is the funniest book ever. After borrowing it from the library over and over we bought our own copy. I only wish there was a 'tune' for the singing bit as I have to make it up.

This is my all time favourite book to read to my toddler. He enjoys the song-like way I read it to him and I enjoy singing the song of bottoms! It's our usual bedtime story :)

Quite a large sized book ( 25.1 x 27.6 cm) running to 32 pages. Soft card covers and good quality, glossy paper pages.

One of the quirkiest, funniest books I've read to my grandchildren and one that nearly had my weeping with laughter. There's some gorgeous, outrageously 'cheeky' rhyming text in here and I love the idea of pigs with 'perky pink bottoms' and peacocks who just love putting their bottoms on display. The artwork is worthy of mention. There's a whole parade of animals on show and their various bottoms are a sight to behold.

Excellent fun and most highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal potty training reward book 9 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
We borrowed this book from the library and my kids (2 yr old twins and 4 year old) loved it so much that I am now going to buy it!
We created a made up tune to sing the words too and they all sing a long and do the actions...brilliant.
The books ends by awarding the best bottom goes to ....... so I used it as a reward when my daughter had no 'accidents' (whilst potty training) she was awarded 'Best bottom' that night at bedtime.

I'm always slightly nervous of certain 'bottom' books as my mother in law is quite 'old school' and would be horrified if the kids repeated something very rude but this book gets the tone exactly right. I urge you to buy it and get singing along with your kids.
