More About the Author

Aita Ighodaro burst onto the scene at Christmas 2010 with her "thrilling and scandalous" debut novel, 'Sin Tropez'. Now her second novel, 'All That Glitters', is ready and in shops on November 1st 2012! Set to be as "dark, dangerous and delicious" as her first, it's one to look out for!

Aita was born in London in 1983 and read Modern Languages at Oxford University. After Oxford she worked in the television industry and has written for several national newspapers and magazines. She has also worked as a fashion model, attending shoots in St Tropez and Cannes where she first began collecting the astonishing stories that would work their way into her fiction.

She now lives in a sunny flat in London but is hardly ever ever there as she loves to travel, constantly on the look out for scandalous inspiration...

I've just been given this for a gift and escaped the winter snow to read it in one sitting- the best way to describe it is just really good fun! If you like your chicklit frank and funny but with the right touch of seriousness then this one is SPOT ON. I really fell for the characters and I hope she will be writing more. Definitely recommend it if you like this sort of book.

SIN TROPEZ is a juicy, sensational read packed with larger-than-life characters, outrageous luxury and superb, snappy dialogue. The plot twists and turns through the lavish lifestyles of the rich and famous, with shocks and surprise aplenty to the very last page. It's intelligently written, has a sophistication and humour that sets it apart from other books in this genre, and I would thoroughly recommend for a beach-time read. Brilliant!

Okay, so as I'm sure you can guess from the summary this isn't exactly deep and meaningful philosophical reading but there's something about Sin Tropez that I really, really enjoyed. It's completely shallow, self-centred and vain but it was the perfect antidote to the grey, depressing days that stretch between Christmas and New Year.

Abena was my favourite character of the three. I found her personality infectious and, unlike Natalya and Tara, I did find she had quite a bit of substance to her. So if you're looking for something to change your view on the world and shake you to your core then you're probably not going to find it here - but, on the other hand, if you need a pick me up during these cold winter months then don't overlook Sin Tropez. It's a fun one.

Over the top and ridiculously unrealistic but kept me gripped - great read! The characters glamorous lifestyle leads you yearning for at least a little of their action!

Fabulous book! This book made me extremely antisocial on my flight and holiday as I just couldn't put it down. Loved the descriptions of some of the characters in their crazy situations. Perfect escapism and a wonderful holiday read.

I thought this book could have been better, the characters are good but they are to many and their storys dont link the way they should, it jumped alot and i got a bit confused trying to work out who was with whom. all in all ok but what do expect for the price.
