Yes, it's a "stuff" pack, and not an expansion pack. So you get the wallpaper, the flooring, the windows and doors, the decorations, the outfits, and the dancing snowman (something which was desperately needed in the Sims 2, obviously), but nothing else.

This might work a little better once Seasons comes out, but the idea of creating a Yuletide home in sunny Pleasantview just doesn't work. Its the gaming equivalent of hearing Christmas music in the shops when it's still August.

It's a little too specific to a particular times of the year, unless you want your Sims to be celebrating New Year and Christmas every day of the week. The clothing extras aren't particularly extensive, however the furnishings and decorations are pretty enough.

Christmas Party Pack - 40 items

Festive Holiday Stuff - 60 items Including the 'same' 40 items that came with The Christmas Party Pack.

The Festive Holiday Stuff Pack contains the same 40 items that the Christmas Party Pack had and 20 more.

If you bought the Christmas Party Pack last time then you would of missed out on this 20 new items unless you want to rebuy and get the extra 20.

It seems unfair on those that spent the same amount last year for 40 items when this time people get 60 items for the same price.

They are only selling the 20 new items on there own through downloading,which again is unfair for us that bought that pack and now have to re-buy just to get all 60.

I bought this expansion pack only because I wanted to say I had all the games. But it really took me by surprise! I already own Seasons so a perfect christmas is brilliant with the snow outside and everyone in their warm winter outfits! The decorations are really uplifting and I'm always sad to remove them after the season changes. I strongly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a care-free absoultely brill stuff pack!

It's brill, now my sims can have Xmas all year round, but not forgeting to turn off the xmas lights before you go to bed otherwise there's a fire hazard just as in the real world.
