These guides are exactly the same as their larger counterparts, but shrunk down to paperback book size. When I say shrunk I mean that literally! Each page from the original A4 size books has been photo reduced to this new size. The upshot of this is that the writing is tiny, and I mean really tiny. It is at about the limit of what can be read without some sort of magnifying aid. This makes it quite difficult to read, and the screenshots are the size of postage stamps. The cheap quality of the paper used doesn't help the situation, nor does the fact that these books are not to scale so the pages are stretched by a fair bit vertically to make them fit the new page size.

These are ideal if you can't get hold of the originals (I was unable to get the Open for Business one) but are not really a replacement for them.

Also bear in mind that there are 2 more Expansion Packs for The Sims 2 yet to be released so this is not a 'complete' collection and the remaining 2 will probably never be released on their own at this size.

As there was no description of the item when I bought this I knew I was taking a risk. I was very disappointed with this item; subsequently I returned it straight away.
The guides are slightly bigger than A5 size and the print quality is awful. It looks as if someone whipped these up quick on a cheap photocopier and put a glossy cover on it to disguise it.
I'm sure the guides themselves are brilliant but I never even looked at the content as the quality of the product was so bad.
I thought this would be a good way to get all the Prima Guides at as low a price as possible but I think I'll just save and buy them individually or second hand.

The writing is very small on the books but I feel that with the Sims you don't really need to buy guides. However, if you are like me and are still struggling to create a werewolf, and have difficulties in other aspects of the game, then these books prove to be quite useful.

I would not necessarily read them all the way through, but like a dictionary these books provide useful explainations to the games and add ons.
