This is not the biggest book in the world but it conatins an amazing amount of really useful info presented in a really accessible way. I've just read the book and I am bowled over. Ive read quite a lot about 'green homes' and this is by far the simplest - but it is also the most packed with information because the author describes what the technology can do, when you might want to use it and the pros and cons. Tim Pullen is not afraid to say that some things may not make financial (or even carbon footprint reducing) sense. He is also keen to promote what he calls 'The Unsexy' such as insulation. Quite simply the best book to date on green homes.

The book is great, it is easy to read and has got the fundamentals of every sustainable home. Good for everyone that needs to know more about the subject in a simple and direct way.
