Enjoyed the video, the dancing in the show was brilliant, but would have like to have seen more of Anton De Beke and Eron Borg. It may have been better for the viewer had the event taken place on a larger stage as it felt at times that there was not sufficient room for the performers to really show what they can do. The supporting cast were very good, the costumes colourful, otherwise a pleasant show.

Having just seen the review by Mrs Pigott and knowing the show, I had to laugh as she seems to have misunderstood the text on the cover.
The title "Simply Ballroom" does not give any indication of instruction nor do the words "Ballroom Dance Spectacular" or "A Must See Show" indicate instruction.
Of course it is a show, it is one that has toured the country at least twice in the last two or three years.
For lovers of top performances in Ballroom and Latin dancing it a fantastic show and the DVD is an excellent souvenir of a visit to the show or if you missed the show a great way to experience it now.
The people who people found the "Mrs Pigott" review helpful have been somewhat misled and may have missed a top dance show DVD.

Anton and Erin. Cheesier than a cheese party in a cheese factory in Cheddar. If you like old fashioned tunes and you don't mind the odd mediochre celebrity performance from guest 'stars' then you'll love this. Not if you're lactose intolerant though.

Ballroom simply
This is more like a variety show. Quite entertaining but the title suggests a simple instructional dvd. Not so.
