2.0 out of 5 stars What a shame 14 Sep 2012
By acyee
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I was planning to make some aprons over the rainy holidays but was disappointed to discover that I could not enlarge the patterns by using dot & cross paper as the patterns in the back of the book are not on squared paper and can only be enlarged by going to a professional large-format photocopiers. For just one of the 12 patterns it cost 9.90! I would have been better off buying a paper pattern instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars apron for everyone 19 Jan 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
My plan is to make every member of the family an apron suitable for their hobby in both design and shape but also fabric. This book has lovely ideas. Some of the aprons could also be easily adapted into garments they are so cleverley designed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed!!! 2 Dec 2012
By KCpie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Thought the patterns would be usable. They are small, not on grid so that they can be drawn up; just a notation to blow them up 400%. An overhead can't even do this. Very disappointed.
1.0 out of 5 stars cost $109 to get the 12 patterns enlarged 14 July 2014
By red ruby - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I can't believe the author didn't at least put the pattern pieces that are printed in the back of the book on grid lines. I took the author's suggestion to take the book to a copy store and get the copies enlarged on blueprint paper. By the time they got the enlarging done it was $109. Yes, $109 for 12 patterns. Why couldn't the publishing company print up tissue pattern pieces. So they may have to charge a couple more $ for the book. This book is a terrible rip-off.
