You know what they say about design, the simple ideas are the best. This book uses pre-cut fabric to create great quilts for the modern, contemporary home. The ideas are fresh, colourful and stylish. The book is well laid out and easy to use with great photography. In addition, there are tips for simplifying your life. I would make all the projects in this book but my favourites are the pillows and the project I am going to start with 'Sugar Rush'. Templates are given at the back of the book. Beautiful and inspiring 9 Feb 2011

The quilts in here are fresh, modern and irresistible to make up! The designs really do encourage you to simplify, and gave me the courage to abandon pre-cut fabric and cut from my stash instead, knowing the the result would reflect my fabric choice, rather than 'mix it up' too much. Suitable for beginners looking for starter projects, and more intermediate patchworkers looking for fresh inspiration. Just wish there were more projects to choose from for the price, but maybe that's me being greedy!

*Great bright colorful pictures on every page

*Crystal clear instructions on how to bind your quilt for that perfect finish

*8 wonderfully easy looking quilt patterns and 4 pillow cushion patterns to match

*Patterns for scallop edging ~ A technique I've always wanted to try but just never have.

*Camille put together a tips page with some of her best tricks of the quilting trade.

*Easy cutting instructions

*Lastly, and my favorite part of this book...
THE USE OF PRE-CUTS! YOU KNOW, MODA PRECUTS! LOVELY LOVELY EASY EASY FABRICS ALL READY FOR YOU TO USE. Camille shows how to use all those fancy turnovers, jelly rolls, honey buns, etc in this book! Great! I've purchased these goodies in the past but once I got it home wondered "what am I going to do with these now?" Well NOW I have a book to show me how to use those Moda Pre-Cuts!

I have sewn for over 40 years and quilted for almost 20 years and this is by far the best quilt book I have ever read!

The quilts in this book are absolutely stunning yet can be made by an experienced quilter like myself in no time. The photography is beautiful. I want to just reach through the pages and touch all of the fabric that is shown.
My favorite thing about this book though is the "feel" of it.....it has really been kept simple. It has a quiet elegance about it.

This is my "go to" quilt book from this point forward whenever I need a new project! I want to make every single item in it. It is very inspritational.
I cannot wait to see what the author creates next!

I absolutely love this book! Not only is the photography wonderful, the text fun to read...but I also want to make every project in the book! From pillows to a table topper, to quilts of various sizes--every project is one I can see myself making either for myself or for a gift. There are great tips for beginners or more experienced quilters alike, and I love the fun quotes sprinkled throughout the book. This is a must-own book--so many great projects, so much helpful advice, and every page is eye-candy for quilters!
