This is a very classy looking soap dispenser and gets rid of all the waste and drip that tend to go with pump dispensers (and no more stuck pumps. Holds around 250ml of liquid soap, hand cream or whatever you want to put in it. You can vary the amount that is delivered with simple plus and minus buttons the only down sides are you need 4 AA batteries (not supplied) and it is not exactly cheap! I suppose it is a cse of you get what you pay for and we love this
Worked great at first. Next day, no reaction with the sensor. Didn't shut off at all. Taking batteries off and fiddling with buttons got it working again. Same thing next day. Then it started to empty itself completely with each use of sensor.
Apparently your don't get any different quality (or quality control) for more money... This function (without the design aspect) can be found for 10 £ (or less).
Also, downside with the design in this one is that you cant't see the amount of soap left in it.
The non-drip rubber valve is great invention though.

I have a black and chrome kitchen, so this soap dispenser fitted in perfectly by the sink. It definately looks more stylish, than a plastic hand operated, off the supermarket shelf soap dispenser. I have been using it many times daily for several months now and have not had to replace the battries yet. It is easy to refill, as you just pop the metal top off and fill. The sensor works every time, but you do have to be careful when working round the sink area, so as not to accidentaly activate it. This is only a minor point, as I only did this a few times at the begining, hence the score of 4 stars. To conclude, I am very happy with my purchase, so much so that I bought a white and chrome one for the downstairs toilet sink.
