She is a consultant to one of Japans largest hotel chains. Over the past six years, Karen has designed over 100 weddings for real brides and grooms throughout the country - couples with widely varying styles, locations and budgets.

I treated myself to this book and I'm so pleased that I did. Although it's definitely aimed at American brides, there are so many ideas for little details in here that can easily be used in the UK. Also, you can adapt some of the ideas to suit any budget which is great. The pictures are really gorgeous and each design is also given a difficultly rating! I love having this book on my coffee table.

This is a lovely book, more of a coffee table book to flick through. If your minted and can afford a massive expensive wedding then this is great. But if, like most people you are on a budget, dont bother with this book. It will only make you feel you can't do it as good. Sorry.

This book has been invaluable for me: it gives tips and creative inspiration for an array of different wedding venue choices. Its American but all the ideas translate and its trendy in a timeless way.
Its helps to simplify the huge amount of options available to the bride & groom and really helped me to focus on the details that are important to me.
I feel relaxed now, with 3 months to go, as I've learnt some excellent creative and practial ideas for the day.
