Simple Kind of Life is the type of song I have looked for all my life; it allways cheers me up no matter what! It is nothing at all like Ex-girlfriend but a very calm song. It expresses how even the simplest of things can turn out to be complicated. Most songs, after repeted playing tend to bore me but I think that the reason Simple Kind of Life hasn't is because it relates to real life so well. I think some lines show how the singer is trying to convince herself of things, such as:"I always thought I'd be a mom, sometimes I wish for a mistake,the longer that I wait the more selfish that I get,you seem like you'd be a good dad." At the very begining there is a very good guitar bit which I really like and has even inspired me to play the guitar. Everytime I hear Simple Kind of Life I can't help but smile.It definately puts everyone I know in a good mood, even my Dad!The only critiscim that I have is that even though it is 4:16 secs it seems very short. I give Simple Kind of Life 5 stars *****, buy it because it isn't just a song it's a story with a meaning.
