Format:Audio CD
This compilation consists of a various sketches by the late founder the Penguin Cafe Orchestra, and a track completed by fellow members of the orchestra. Some have been released before, but most are unreleased. Some were sketches destined for the next Penguin Cafe Orchestra album (PCO). As with the PCO albums, each sketch is unique -- different style, different mood, and never dull. No fan of the PCO should be without this or the "Still Life at the Penguin Cafe" album.
Sad & Happy listening for fans of the Penguin Cafe.

These are (mostly) solo piano sketches collected from the attic after Simon's untimely death of a brain tumor in December 1997 aged 48. As such, they're not up to the standards of his excellent Penguin Cafe Orchestra recordings of course, but nevertheless make a nice remembrance of a unique musician.
