I got this bike for my 23month old due to the fact it said it was suitable for 15months plus and my son is very small for his age. When the bike arrived i discovered that the bike needed to be fully put together (including stickers to be stuck on), at first the thought of it was daunting but it ended up being quite easy and was done in a little over an hour just taking it easy. Once built I was quite happy with the result and loved the fact it has a steering lock and a peddle lock (peddles move if child peddles but has no effect on wheels), meaning i have full control when i'm pushing and if child wants to ride under own steam its just a simple click and off they go. When my son seen it he was delighted, sat on it straight away and was able to reach the peddles on the smallest setting. Over all a lovely simple bike that seems sturdy and (due to no branding) wont date easily.

My 21 month old daughter got this trike as a Xmas present. My husband built it without much effort and the trike is certainly a good-looking and sturdy toy. My daughter liked it straight away and loves being on it. So far she mostly straddles is and 'walks' it or is being steered around by us, but she is slowly getting the hang of the pedals. It's very useful that the seat has 3 settings depending on the height of the child. The bar below the seat is high, so my daughter is not able to mount the trike without a little help from us, but I view this as a safety feature. Sh loves putting small toys in the basket too. The steering bar at the back is very well designed, with 2 length settings, and is extremely easy to use for steering. There is also a way of restricting the movement of the pedals and handles. Overall, a great toy, I can see my daughter using it for a very long time.

my parents bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday and we used it for 4 days before the pedal lock stopped working I have even tried wrapping string round it to keep them from spinning as she couldn't keep her feet on the pedals as they sun too fast for her - Turing her favourite toy into something she is scared of!!!! Unfortunately due to living in Spain mt parents ordered it a couple of months before her birthday so we had passed the return period through amazon, so I contacted Smoby directly!!! After almost 2 weeks with no reply I sent them another email as I unable to use it and almost another 2 weeks later I am still to hear anything - even to let me know this is being looked into!!! My parents are now buying a new trike and are definitely not going to use Smoby again due to their lack of customer care and shoddy products!!!
