A must have for your grade school children! 5 Aug 2009

This series of short poems by Shel Silverstein stretch your child's imagination and make reading with them fun for the parents too! I read a few of them a night to my six year old daughter and it always turns into a giggle fest when I ask "What if?" and get her to visualize the silly situations.

Some other really good ones by the same author:

Classic Shel Silverstein. I read selections from this book when there is extra time in my classroom. The students love the drawings and silly stories. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a laugh or material that can be educational.
