To get the bad stuff out of the way the only downside I see to this product is that it isn't sold well enough off the page, a decent picture gallery would have been a good start. If you look online there are a couple of videos of this car in action, If Amazon could use them it would give people a much better idea of what they were buying.
The packaging was ideal with a flap on the retail box so I could see what I had bought and if I thought it was suitable before unpacking it, just one look and I knew my boy was going to be over the moon with it on Christmas day.
I remember when I had a radio controlled car when I was little and I remember it being the greatest present ever (for about a week), then I got bored with the limited functionality, not long after I was building ramps and jumps which led to it breaking.
The reason I like this car is there is a bit more going on, my boy was changing the tyres (pulling in for a pit stop) and changing it into a three wheeler every 10 - 15 minutes. Both of which are very easy to do even for a 4 year old. The variable speed trigger was also very good and he quickly managed to negotiate tight corners and dining room furniture.
Really looking forward to warmer days when we can get it outside and maybe even chalk out a race circuit, I may even treat myself to one to get some racing going on.
In summary - Looks cool, good build quality and great functionality - Worth the money
