I have completely failed to get this toy to work. It seems to be a prototype with working parts...only the parts do not work together. You get two golfers that can swing by holding them and twisting their midriff. Cool, only they will not fit onto the golf course provided, they need much bigger space. Also the golf balls provided do not stay on the course, the friction provided is too small to hold the ball. Even if you place it on the course it is likely to roll downhill to a wall. Perhaps it is possible to make the golfers work on a carpet, skipping the golf course completely. And maybe you can play "minigolf" on the golf course, using the putter in you own hands. But as sold this toy does not work. A disappointment.
