Probably the most innovative model plane ever produced, Silverlit’s V-Jet has a unique swing wing facility, that allows the whole assembly to fully tilt in flight. Cleverly designed to fly in a conventional manner, then actually transform in the air, and hover like a helicopter for vertical take offs and landings. Swing the wing back to its horizontal position whilst flying, using the 3-channel radio control, to accelerate forward rapidly and resume a normal flight pattern. Silverlit’s sensational V-Jet will taxi on a smooth surface on its tricycle undercarriage, and take off vertically or horizontally upon command. A pair of contra rotating propeller style rotors are positioned on the leading edge of each wing to provide superb stability, with a useful transmitter trim allowing precise control. The attractive V-Jet gift box includes a fully assembled aeroplane supplied ready-to-fly, complete with a pre-installed 3-channel digital proportional radio control system, and an informative flight manual. Suitable for both beginners and enthusiasts, steer the model using differential thrust by simply moving the transmitter joy stick left or right, whilst operating the throttle to climb or descend. Fun to fly outdoors in calm conditions, and made of lightweight flexible foam to withstand the occasional heavy landing. The V-Jet incorporates a powerful lithium polymer battery and will fly for five minutes or more, whilst recharging direct from the transmitter in less than half an hour. The V-Jet is available in two similar colour schemes on 27 MHz bands A or B. Alternative bands A, B or C allow up to three different Silverlit models to be flown together. The Silverlit V-Full Tilt Jet combines the best elements of remote controlled helicopters and planes. With its unique swing wing technology this remote control toy can fly like a traditional plane before changing the angle of its wing to hover like a helicopter - enabling vertical take off and landing. In 'plane-mode' this remote controlled jet features a 3 Channel control system allowing easy control and rapid acceleration. This means that newcomers to remote controlled planes can experience high speed flying with the extra stability provided by the swing wing technology. With its dual-band technology two V-Full Tilt Jets can even be flown simultaneously and the plane features an infrared controlled flight range of up to 100 metres. The V-Full Tilt Jet is supplied fully assembled and contains a built in Lithium Polymer flight battery, which provides up to 10 minutes of flight time and can take as little as 20 minutes to fully charge (n.b. 8 x 1.5v AA Alkaline Batteries required for Transmitter/Charger).
