Made of stainless and polished steel is well legible and precisely marked with metric and imperial units. Small mancament is that edge with point zero on the scale is not perfectly perpendicular (sticks out about 1 mm at the bottom), so if you want to have precise reading you must file it gently to it's perpendicular position.

It is exactly what it says - a standard engineer's steel rule. The price is good and it's machined nicely and quite crisp.
However, I had to note that when it arrived it actually still had a little lubricant oil on it from the machining process which I had to remove first.
Apart from that, it's a perfectly standard steel rule like any other one. Buy this purely based on if it it cheaper than your local shop or not.

There is about 0.3 or 0.4 of a millimetre of metal to the left of the ZERO mark. So it's not very good for precisely measuring from the end. If I need to be precise I use another mark further in then subtract. There must be better metal rules on the market.

nice item very accurate graduations.
Its a rule, and it's a steel one what more can I say, it measures in inches and mm clearly and accurately. Not only that but at a good price.

Cheap, straight and well marked
