I am a 63-year old female with long fingers (glove size 7.5) who still does a lot of DIY - like laying laminate floors, making units from scratch, etc etc. And I recently borrowed a friend's Parkside cordless drill/driver, which I found a boon when making myself an elaborate padded-squares headboard, as I find screwing quite a chore! So I ordered this cordless drill/driver. But although I had very little difficulty removing the battery from the Parkside drill/drive, I could not remove the battery from this Silverline drill/driver at all - because my fingers were just not strong enough to depress the buttons at each side of the battery! I therefore had no option but to return it, since I would never be able to remove and charge the batteries.
So my advice is that if your hands are small or your fingers weak, it might be a good idea for you to go to a local store and see if you can remove the batteries from a few drills before you order one online?
