I find myself wondering if I received a different model to the other reviewers.
Of the five (well within the maximum limit) bits of metal I've tried to cut so far, I've managed to cut just one... which was about as thick as standard household electrical cable. More annoying is that if I try to put any significant amount of force into the cutters, the grips start to slide off. I had significantly more success with the basic wire cutters in a pair of pliers I tried.
It seems that the head either doesn't align properly or twists slightly on harder bits of metal. I shall have to get something a bit more substantial, and likely not something from Silverline.

These bolt cutters may be cheap but are very cheerful, they cut forever and never become blunt it seems. They cut through most metals with relative ease despite being only costing a few pounds, they cut on a level with bolt cutters two or three times their own price and are top quality. I reccommend these bolt cutters without hesitation and i will be buying another once these ones stop working. Overall, an excellent price, superb durability and great general reliability. An Ace Purchase By Myself And I Dont Mind Saying So!!! lol :-)

BELIEVE ME ON THIS, these bolt cutters are no good, if your planning on investing on bolt cutters buy a good pair these are too small, the head can hardly fit anything in-between it, and the handles come loose.

Small and powerful
