I purchased this guide clamp to assist me with making a piece of furniture that I needed. The clamp does what it should do, although the quality of the item is not up there with most professional tools.
Worth the money though, if you need to cut a steady line with your circular saw or router.

These worked far better than I expected, initially when I first unboxed them I thought they would not clamp anywhere well enough for using them with a circular saw or saw bench! And felt a little disappointed as they are them friction type clamps where an angled bit of metal is wedged under pressure and I would rather see a screw clamp, well I had them so I gave them a go and found out my fears of quality was so wrong, I used this as a guide on a saw table and it did not move 1mm when cutting a long 2.4M sheet of ply, turns out it is a perfect additional guide for my saw table and router table.

...the only problem I found, it won't grip on the curved edge of a worktop (to cut across), so you have to cut a flat edge on your "waste" piece and clamp it there, or use a G-clamp at each end. Otherwise, it does exactly what it claims!
