These will save your knees as they are reasonably padded.
However, the front is hard plastic and will potentially scratch the surface you're leaning on.
They only have one retaining strap and therefore slip down easily. After only 10 minutes of use I wished I'd bought something else. They'll be fine if you remain in one position but they're not good if you have to keep moving about.

Very comfortable kneeling down but straps unless you have massive legs are not great and not comfortable also move very easily when walking or adjusting your position...taken to using an old pillow instead.
