Arrived barely disguised with brown paper and bubble wrap around the business end but none the worse for that. It has a nice weight and a good length making for an easy swing and made light work of felling a hefty leylandii and small sycamore. A great product at a great price.

This axe is fairly heavy and takes a fair weild .I found it a bit of a blunt instrument .I wouldn`t like to try and fell a tree with it but fine for a good old bluter at a bit of wood you want removed .

It works .
No problems when in use. Lovely weight when splitting logs.
No problem with delivery
It has been in use for about one year and shows little signs of wear the axe head is still tight on the shaft.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
I have used it 3 times and the head has become loose and now fallen off same as the silverline maul that fell to bits too

OK for the price
A good axe but it would be better if the head were a bit sharper to start off with as it got blunt quite quickly. However, a very reasonable price.

bad quality
the outer layer had got a big split after first use. I have to fix it with duck tape. I just dont like it

A Blunt Axe
The axe arrived in good time, however it was blunt & will need grinding/sharpening. Quite disappointing really as I wanted to use it immediately.

Poor quality

Handles Well

Delivered within 48 hours. At least £10 cheaper than anything similar from any UK DIY shed. Does exactly what it's supposed to do - it's an axe and it cuts wood. Read more
