copper pipe cleaner 7 Mar 2012

An excellent tool for cleaning and obtaining a smooth surface on the end of copper pipe prior to making a connection. I also used it to smooth the surface where I had removed a 15mm copper pipe chrome coating, using abrasive paper, prior to joining copper pipe to it.

Not worth the novelty factor. The wires soon warp and don't get any water in there.. it rusts. Moreover it is really only useful when cutting and cleaning pipe off the tube not when fixed to walls!

I used to go through a lot of wire wool, not any more. By revolving this cleaner around the end of your pipe (ahem) it will come up bright and shiny in no time at all. Read more

Efficient cleaner

This tool very effectively cleans and de-oxidizes the outside and inside surfaces of the end of a copper pipe prior to soldering. Read more
