I bought this item as an experiment, I wasn't really expecting too high a quality for the small amount of money I paid for it but I was wrong: this edger is superb! It edges the lawn with very little effort, and isn't cumbersome to use. The item arrived within a couple of days of me placing my order.

OK so bearing in mind that you pay your money you take your choice and all that I found this to be pretty ok for the price. My lawn is say 20 x 30 feet and it's not a bowling green (in fact about 10% of it has been grassed by fallen bird seed!) so some of the grass is a bit tough. This edger has successfully edged my lawn five times to date and it's held up well so far. I see that others have had problems on here - maybe it's a bad batch or something. Anyway - I'll re-edit this review if mine does come apart. I liked it enough to buy a dutch hoe by the same lot though...

This is excellent value for money, - I half expected that it would be a bit cheap and nasty, But it does the job a treat, and for a Fiver with free delivery,

This does not cut any grass. Please do not buy. Instead spend GBP 5/- on pint and if you are high enough you can pull out the grass with your bare hands.

Cheap & flimsy but does the job
This feels lie it will snap at any minute when in use. The construction is terrible, but you pay for what you get. It edged the lawn ok, so I cant complain too much!
