I bought this as i was fed up with short leads which meant i had to keep changing the socket in order to reach the bottom of the garden.
This is a really good product because:-
1. It is really long but you dont need to unwind all of it to use
2. It is easy to wind back up
3. It has a power protector thingy - I inadvertently cut through
the cable and the electric wasnt tripped for the whole house,
only the extension lead.
4. It has a pre-set button

I was looking for a specific length of cable; portability and design were also a factor. This product stood out from the rest, and is extremely well priced. An excellent product.

This Silverline 25 metre cable met all my requirements; some were 15 metres and 20 metres with different prices (something to watch) I have used this Cable reel and easily reached the bottom of my garden to use the strimmer to cut the edges of the lawn. Any shorter reel would have not been good. Also when using a projector on a powerpoint presenation it was then easy to locate the projector using the cable extension.
