With price being a major factor these days value for money is key.
This saw was very good value for money.
I don't know why but it seemed larger than I was expecting. Possibly because I'd been used to a small tenon saw. However, that soon wore off. After the first few times of using it I was utterly impressed. It's excellent. If only I was as efficient as it is. I don't what anyone else would expect to saw with this but I was able to slice through trunks up to 250mm thick(approx 10 inches). It made me puff a bit but thats me not the saw.
How long it will stay this sharp I cant say yet but at the price I cant complain if it dulls after a year or two.
As for the size I now think IT just right. the saw is strong be light weight, so reasonably portable. My only negative comment is the hand protector/grip guard which also serves to 'lock' the blade. Whils thiss is an admirable feature it would benefit from being a bit beefier. But then wouldn't we all?
