Very weak. After just five minutes of use the neck snapped whilst digging up the stump of what was once a small bush.

Bought 3 spades - First one snapped in two on its first use. Second one bent a few days after purchase and cannot be used. We don't use the third one !

I think this spade is very good. It does the job and is sturdy but not too heavy. Like the price too.
