Sharpens well and with the help of the guide does so precisely. The handle does not fit straight on but does not interfere with using the tool. Overall, does the job well and offers very good value for money.

This product 'does what it says on the tin'. I am cutting hard-wood logs and I find that re-sharpening the chain every 30 minutes or so restores my chainsaw to its full cutting performance. Re-sharpening the chain only takes a few minutes.

This is a simple, easy to use sharpener at a bargain price. It is over £10 in a high street DIY store.
There were no instructions with it but there are lots of online hints/guides to sharpening a chain saw, You just clean the debris off the saw first, place the guide on at the correct angle, ie match the existing chain angle and a couple of strokes of the file on each tooth then move on to the next. It takes only a few minutes to complete the job.

Very pleased with the file. Have got the money/cost of it back already considering that it is about £6 to have a chain sharpened.
