The metal parts of the cutter are a little rough, and it wobbles just a bit, but it does the job and for the price, it's pretty good value, when you compare it with £40 for a 'professional' version. It's only good for cutting glass circles up to 30cm in diameter, but I don't want to cut anything larger, so it's fine for my requirements. Unless you have the £40 to spend, give this a try!

I've never tried cutting glass before but needed to repair two clocks with broken front glass. The silverline glass cutters worked and I sucessfully carried out the repairs.
But I found the measuring scale on the bar useless, it did not correlate to real measurements.
I adjusted the radius of my cut by trial and error using a piece of paper until I found the diameter I needed. The actual cutting of the glass was a doddle.

Must be worth getting a professional to do this?
On higher levels you may need someone outside on a ladder anyway. Get a few window fans and a glazier.

Does not do the job
Don't buy this product if you want to cut a round hole in a peace of glass. The diamond cutter is quite useless and the whole device is flimsy. Read more

Flimsy and doesn't work
Product is flimsy and doesn't really work. Virtually impossible to cut a circular hole in a piece of glass using this. Read more
