The first album by Leo Sayer was a corker,it had everything on it,pathos and energy collided in a melange of styles "The show must go on" became a huge hit,and "Dancer"and "Why is everybody going home" still sound magical today.
The second cd reminds me of early Elton John particularly "The bells of Saint Marys""Train"is on the right tracks(Ha!Ha!)everyone knows "One man band" a hit single, which reminds me of "Can you put your light on please"by Harry Chapin
Cat's in the Cradle & Other HitsRoger Daltrey and Adam faith were early supporters of Mr Sayer, and the quality shines through, although the second album doesn't achieve the class of the first, this is still a fine collection.
