I saw this item had been awarded 3 x 5 stars & 1 x 4 stars in the reviews here on Amazon (from another seller), and purchased 3 of them on the strength of the reviews. I REALLY wish I HADN'T!!!!
I had hoped to be able to just drag and drop some .jpg's, straight into a picture folder on the device. Instead, all you can do, is use the software that's installed on it, and convert .jpg's to very poor quality .bmp's! Of which I think you can fit 58 .bmp's. In this day and age, where memory really isn't very expensive, I would have thought that 1GB or even just 100MB wouldn't cost the manufacturers too much, but if this can only squeeze some rubbish looking .bmp's on it, the actual memory size must be tiny!
I bought these for my Dad and Grandparents, so I intended to put some pics on for them to start off, but hoped they could do it themselves, when they wanted to change photos. Had it just been 'drag & drop', they could have probably managed it, but I can't see them getting their head around this rubbish software. The instructions look like they came out of a Xmas cracker, and are littered with bad english and punctuation. Lot's of use of the term "longtime", is a giveaway that these items are cheap imports from the Far East.
Also the only way to charge it up (no replacable battery), is through the USB port, which isn't great for my Grandparents who don't own a computer. So I've had to dig out a USB charger, and hope that works for them.
Basically if I'd known this item didn't accept .jpg, I would NOT have bought it. VERY disappointed, especially now I've come back to post this review and found the price has dropped, just 3 weeks later. GRRRRR
Hopefully THIS review will prove useful for others. I know it's not that expensive, but I also know that it's still rubbish, and that you can get far better for your money than this!

I chose this item because the fourth point under the product description said, 'Photos can be easily loaded and unloaded through a USB cable (supplied) when connected to a PC / Mac'. I was very pleased to have found something that stated this so clearly. But it is false. Photos cannot be loaded onto the key ring simply by connecting a USB to a Mac. There is nothing in the instructions to help. These tell me to connect the keyring and computer with a USB cable, press the menu button on the key ring and the computer will pop-up a download dialog box. It does not. I thought I might be able to find some software online that would help - so far I have not. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Apart from helping me make sure I don't lose my keys, it's a nice little accessory to have. Once it arrived, putting some pictures on it was really easy. Smaller than I expected which is great as I don't want some huge thing on my keychain. Great for keeping some precious pics with me at all times.

Great present!
I bought this for my wife and it is easy to use. Uploading pictures was a breeze. It also has simple user interface but only one fault would be that it is a bit large.
