3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, pity it's not actually good either., 6 Feb 2001

Says it all really: The Silver record isn't, as you might expect, a history of the Garou: It's a collection of short stories and poem/songs about them, some written from each tribes perspective. Some of the stories are actually really quite good, but it doesn't disguise the fac that the same stories could be gleaned a lot more simply, and cheaply, by buying a book of fables.

The Index includes a list of the Garou/Bastet/other Bete glyphs, which is moderatly cool.

Basically the book is quite good, but don't expect to find anything earthshakingly significant or anything you couldn't write yourself with a little imagination and a book of fairy tales.
