Jack Drake must discover what the secretive third part of the moon relic is and destroy it before it can be used to decimate the world. 4.0 out of 5 stars "Moon Trilogy" book 3 10 Nov. 2011
By Book Addict TOP 500 REVIEWER
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The final offering in this paranormal romance trilogy is a great read. The leading lovers are characters who have appeared in book 2 "Amber Moon" and the prophesies foretold are finally coming to pass.

Committee agent Jack Drake may have hated paranormal creatures since they slaughtered his family, but he cannot deny his attraction to Asta; a rare mirmir able to shape shift into several animal forms. Together they are working to track down the 2 artefacts stolen in "Amber Moon" before they can be united with the mysterious 3rd item to destroy the world.

The story line is again fast paced, and features a provocative, decidedly feline Asta who proves as deadly as previous leading lady Mirie. There is a nice twist in the tale, plus a conclusive ending that wraps up all the loose ends. This whole trilogy has proven to be a great paranormal romance series and I hope that this is just the start for CLB and she'll be producing more books set in this magical world. 4½ stars

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for fantasy fans 16 Nov. 2011
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As has been mentioned this is the third in a three part series of books, this is about an item of power (wont give spoilers) that is to be obtained and gives a brief insight into the lives of shapeshifters and elves and how they operate in the world, it preludes to "otherworldly matters" and although my gripe is that it is a short story - it will most probably take you about an hour or two to read at a leisurely pace - it doesn't seem too rushed in telling the story. For the price it is worth getting along with the other two in the trilogy as they are a very low price or free at times. The author's style is easy to read, seems a bit basic but you don't mind as the story gets puts across without too much distraction.

Worth a download for sure, I gave it four stars as I did enjoy the story overall :)

The ending is a bit of anticlimax and as said above, would have been much better in one format rather than three books.

5.0 out of 5 stars short but sweet 13 April 2012
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Each book in this trilogy; black moon, amber moon, silver (it later extends into the cat clan novellas harvest moon and blood moon) is an extended short story with a focus on a specific set of characters.

They are all currently free on the kindle so there would be no reason to feel short changed but could also work in a book with 3 parts.

The style of writing is engaging and very easy to read and I have gone on to buy the 2nd book fot the cat clan as well as the 2nd book for the lake people (veiled eyes the first of these is also free and both of these are much longer books).

5.0 out of 5 stars Good finish to small trilogy 26 Nov. 2011
    Format:Kindle Edition
Although I feel the second book was better, this third instalment wraps up all the loose ends nicely. The third artifact is well hidden ,it certainly surprised me anyway!
The characters come together to stop the end of the world in true hero fashion, and these short stories end with an opening for more books.

Certainly worth reading the trilogy back to back you just have to be aware how short they are,you could read all three in a day easily.

    Hope this helps

    5.0 out of 5 stars A fitting end... 3 Jan. 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The end to a brilliant trilogy!

So once again, the characters have been described brilliantly - the author really wants you to imagine what they look like as if they are right next to you!!

The story and settings again are great - I was a little saddened when I got to the end of the book!!

All in all I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get in to the fantasy world but don't know where to begin!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars Silver Moon by C L Bevill 16 Jun. 2012
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The third book in this Moon Trilogy and it finishes it all off nicely. I could have read the 3 books as 1 but being as I read them back to back, doesn't really matter much.

Feisty heroines, leading man with character as well as good body. Oh and did I mention dragons? Loved them!!!

A fantastic trilogy but being as they are short stories, would suggest reading them as one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little supernatural end to the trilogy 17 Nov. 2011
By Cheryl M-M TOP 1000 REVIEWER
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The third part of the Moon trilogy brings everything together. The third artefact is being sought by the Werewolves, but I wasn't expecting them to find it where they did. The part about the truck made me chuckle in the first chapter. All in all a good little supernatural novella. I would like to see this writer try their hand at something slightly longer. Enjoyable short read.
