Product Description

CD Description
'Silver And Fire' is the second album from London-based singer-songwriter Martin 'M' Craft. Combining dusty road songs with a delicate, eclectic edge, it's no wonder that Craft has been described as one of the biggest talents of his generation. Includes the tracks 'Silver And Fire' and 'Sweets'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truely brilliant, 20 May 2006

i first heard of M craft when i saw him supporting magic numbers last year in leeds. i thought he was amazing so i tried to find some of his music and i found the ep "i can see it all tonight" which is an amazing ep of just 6 tracks.
i got very excited when i heard he was releasing a full album and i must say it doesnt disappoint. the songs dragonfly and sweets are both very atmospheric and beautiful. also emily snow is in the same category of brilliant music.
m craft is one of the most talented singer song writers around and deserves a lot more recognition than he gets. he sounds little bit like an early badly drawn boy and it just makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.
you will not spend a better tenner on a cd. please buy this album its highly recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars Haunting and Delightful, 2 Aug 2006

OK. First I have to forgive the Magic Number association and definitely distance the good man Martin from their tarnished and sickening ways. This album delivers from the first note to the final chorus. You know the occasion when shivers are forced down you spine? Well it happens here when you listen to the title track and then he takes you all around his head on a varied and beautiful journey. The songwriting on display here is the stuff that more mainstream singer/songwriters (Blunt eat your heart out) dream of. Home alone. Glass of red. This on the stereo. Bliss.
