This is a simple and straightforward walkers compass. It is well made with a grippy bezel ring which makes for easy use with gloves on. It is as accurate as its user so take the time to learn how to use it properly. It was good enough to navigate out of a whiteout in the Lakes this winter. Good price. Recommended.

I guess a compass is a compass at the end of the day and it's difficult to get too excited about it
This one is simple to use, acurate and reliable (which I guess if you need a compass, are pretty esential elements)
It looks good and feels like a 'proper' compass when you use it
Silva has quite a good reputation too - so I'm told

Easy to use and reliable
Had no problems with this compass. I went for this one over the cheaper ones as I wanted a good quality compass for doing the 3 peaks challenge. It never once let me down.
