"A Brilliant Creation!" - Algernon Blottington-Clampweasel "Absolutely Beautiful! Clever!" - Amelia Belinda Cartwheel A nonsensical rhyming ABC picture book featuring silly monsters, from the amblemoose to the zebozoo, not forgetting the spotty socksniffer (who sniffs socks with spots), the tea-toad (who hides in cracked teapots), the mouldy moop (who menaces mild-mannered mice) and the nasty nonk (who's never very nice). "Alphabetical Brilliance, Certainly." - A Bus Conductor "Actually Bought Cartloads!" - A Big Cheese

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, creative and well illustrated 15 Aug 2011
By Paul
Format:Kindle Edition
One of the best quality children's picture-books I've found so far on Kindle, and the most enjoyable alphabet book I've seen in quite some time. You'll find every kind of monster from ambling Amblemoose to snoring Zebadoo, all wonderfully illustrated. Works fine on a (monochrome) Kindle device; even better in colour on a phone, tablet or PC.

My husband and I were perusing Children's kindle books because we wanted to know what the competition was! This book is great, one of the few children's books apart from "The Ant and the cherry" by Mark Jephcott, that is worth your while buying!

I liked it so much I put it on my blog as a must buy, a blog I write for Mumsnet. For my little man a book must have exciting illustrations, an easy story line.

Without going all Seseme Street on you all. Take the Letter C, in this book there is a Crocodoodle who eats cake, personally that should be all that is required but it depends on what you want this book for. If you want an A is for Apple, simple educational book then this may not be for you but if you want a book that holds your child's attention whilst sneaking a little learning in then this book is a must have!

Get it, your child will not be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars What a cool book. 5 April 2013

Very imaginiative and encourages children to read made up words. We also had fun looking at the pictures and finding more words.
