The dogs nuts. A pullsaw to beat all. What a tool. I rate this little badger. Best make by far.

This is a great little tool that will easily fit into a pocket. Don't be fooled by the size though, this saw cuts almost unbelievably clean and fast.

This is possibly the best tool I own. It is perfectly balanced, fits my hand perfectly and hardly ever jams. It dealt effortlessly with a mature Viburnum and made short work of pruning a huge Pyrocantha that had resisted attempts to prune it with another folding pruning saw.
What is particularly striking about it is the mirror finish of the cut that it makes. We chop up our prunings to put them in a garden waste bin for collection by the council and the Pocketboy even makes short work of this! I love it!

Excellent pruning saw. You can carry it in your tool bag. The saw is very sharp, cuts through branches 10-15 mm dia in no time.
Well worth the price.

Excellent Saw 5 Aug 2012

I use this saw in maintaining a section of the Appalachian Trail in Vermont. It locks open in a solid manner, is sturdy and cuts everything 4" in diameter or less. Getting a sheath will help keep the saw handy. I am very pleased with it.

On par with other silky saws 5 May 2014

As a professional horticulturist, I consider silky saws to be the best. I have a number of them that I use for work including a pole saw, the sugoi, and the super accel. I purchased the pocketboy for use at home and it is perfect. Very aggressive teeth that cut quickly, just like the other silky saws. The compact size makes it easier to store and tote around. I have used it on both trees and shrubs, and it has definitely been up to all the pruning tasks I have for it.

Holy S*&^ 8 Mar 2013

This might be the coolest, most compact best "hand feel" saw Ive ever bought. Now mind you I have yet to use it. But it appears to be a phenominal little saw, I use a sven saw and everyone knows they are awesome, but this just feels and looks great and the blade is made in Japan(they are pretty good at steel). Ok I did a head to head test of a 4 in tree trunk with this saw and a gerber folding saw I carry in my pack, this saw blew thru it, and the gerber got bound up and bent. this saw is simply amazing.

Perfect Saw 23 Nov 2013

I whittle twigs and branches. Sometimes I will prune branches for my whittling and this little guy is amazing. Cuts super fast, the teeth do not clog and is as sharp as the day I bought it. I like how I can buy different blades and interchange them. I am planning on getting the extra fine blade to use when I am doing the whittling and switching out to the medium for pruning and rough cutting. I say rough cutting, but still this saw makes a really clean cut. Perfect balance of speed and clean cutting.

The plastic belt clip case was more of a hassle than to use. I just put the think in the back pocket of my jeans when I am out in the woods. Or in the winter it fits easily in the inside pocket of my leather jacket. There is also a hole where you could put some para-cord and a clip for easy travel.

Really this is the perfect saw for pruning, hiking, whittling, and camping. Works great in both dry and green wood.
