I ordered this book a week ago and have found it to be really informative and interesting. Jenni Milne covers all aspects of silk painting - including subjects that I knew nothing about, like the use of salt. The only think I would comment on is the fact that there are no step by step photos . Other than that a brilliant book!

This book is a must for anyone who is interested in the art of painting on silk. In glorious colour, Jenni Milne gives step by step instructions that are backed up with excellent illustrations. The author covers the use of gutta, microwaving with steam fix dyes, heliographic techniques and much more. Being spiral bound the book lies flat for easy use. Jenni Milne has produced a winner with Silk Painting.
