I bought this tray to make chocolate dinosaurs for my son's birthday party. I put them on chocolate muffins (= soil) with green icing (= grass) and the kids loved them (as did the adults ;)!). They turned out fab and looked very cute.
I made them with white, milk and dark chocolate and all of them looked great, you could easily see the detail (facial features, limbs etc.) in all 3 colours. The dinosaurs were so easy to make and came out of the mould without any problems. To avoid air bubbles, you can carefully swirl the chocolate around with a toothpick after filling the moulds.
The mould is easy to handle and to clean and the result is fantastic. I love that it's made from silicon and not plastic, like a lot of other chocolate moulds. They're also a good size for kids - not too big, a nice bite-size bit of chocolate. This was a great buy and I can whole-heartedly recommend it.

I bought this to use for my son who currently has a dinosaur obsession. Not only do we use it for treats, but we also use it for making crayons out of his old broken ones by melting them and pouring them into this mold. He loves them and they fit nicely in his hand and they don't roll off of the table. We also use it for Jell-o and small muffins. Washes nicely in the dish washer. Great quality for the Amazon price too.

The individual dinosaurs are a bit small as stated in another review. I needed them to top cupcakes so it wasn't a problem for me but I can see how the picture is a bit deceiving. Each dino stands about 1 inch tall and ranges from 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. I wish I knew this information before I ordered them but it will work for me. Other than the size, the quality of the mold is great. You will have to place it on a cookie sheet to keep the mold from flexing but that's not a big isuue because the flexiblity made it easier to take out the chocolate.

I loveeeee this mold...sooo easy to pop out since it's so flexible...but I do have to put it on another tray to make sure it stays stable. I have used it in the oven and microwave, and the little dinos are soooo cute! I even made some crayons with it!
