I bought this case for my girlfriend based on the strength of the previous reviews, and because it's pink =]. To start, the entire package is exceptionally good value for money. A silicone case + screen protector + a sock! Even if only one of these did their job decently, it would have been money will spend considering it's so cheap. But that's not the case (excuse the pun). Let me break it down...
It just so happens that the silicone case alone is very impressive, it fits the iPod like a glove and you immediately feel more reassured that it's less likely to break if dropped. Because of the material of the case, it adds (in my opinion some much needed) bulk to the device. The iPod touch is exceptionally slim and almost feels a little uncomfortable to hold at times. The chrome back of the device makes it very slippery, again this pink case adds value in the sense that it improved the grip massively, meaning much less chance of the iPod slipping from one's hand. The case will also ensure that the back of the device stays scratch-free.
Just a quick note on the appearance of the case: the pink colour is very vibrant and it attractively displays the Apple logo centered on the back. This gives an almost ripple-effect of circles streaming around it, highlighting the Apple brand.
A potential problem with many protective cases on the market for iDevices are the obstruction of the 30-pin charging port. Oftentimes this leads to having to remove the case in order to charge the device, or to connect it to a speaker dock. I'm glad to say this silicone case does not create such a problem. We were able to charge it, dock it, and easily control the volume and power button. I should also point out that the camera cut-out is perfectly inline with the camera without causing an obstruction. Very impressed.
Moving on to the included screen protector... It's nothing special. It certainly does it's job but it's not up to the high standard as such brands as Zagg or PhoneDevil. This is one which can be picked up in packs of 10 for next to nothing. Fine for what it is, and excellent to be included in this kit, but for those looking for the ultimate iPod Touch screen protector, you'd be better off with one of the other brands mentioned. Still, a good inclusion!
Finally, we move onto the iPod sock. This is another surprisingly great addition to this protection pack. The sock is virtually indistinguishable from the original Apple branded iPod 'socks' but at a fraction of the price. It matches the pink silicone cover and it fits very nicely. I would imagine this would fit such other devices at the iPhone, due to the elasticated nature of the material. This is great for that extra layer of protection when the iPod is in your pocket or bag.
Overall, this is absolutely fantastic value for money and in my opinion, an essential buy for any new iPod Touch 4G owner. 5 stars and Highly Recommended!

I received this item a couple of days after I ordered it so a fast service from the supplier. I was unsure what the tone of the pink would be like on the case (photos can often be misleading) but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a nice shade, with a spiral pattern and I like how it is see-through so you can still see the apple logo and engravings. A perfect fit with the headphone and charging sockets all easy to get to and I personally found the volume and lock buttons still easy to operate despite the case covering them, maybe a little more force required but barely. The sock is my favourite part of the package, very handy for when you're on the move. I had a look at the screen protector but I dont think i will be attempting to put it on - they are notoriously difficult and the sock offers enough protection for me. You also get a small screen cloth. Overall I am very pleased with the package and think it is great value for money.

Silicone cover and sock are both excellent quality products - the cover is a nice colour and its nice to still be able to see the 'apple' through it! However, the screen protector did not appear to be up to the same standard - it had a little crease which shows up as a bubble and is peeling up around the edges where the cover rubs against it. But, the cover and sock were fantastic value for money, so overall, very pleased. Will just buy a quality screen protector separately.
