Product Description

In their hi-tech scientific laboratory, The Thomas Lyell Centre, forensic pathologists Dr. Harry Cunningham, Dr. Nikki Alexander and Professor Leo Dalton continue to search for evidence concealed with the dead; intriguing and shocking cases that at times bring the team together, set them against each other or put their lives in grave danger…

Intent
The death of an insurance investigator leads to Leo being accused of falsifying a post mortem report, while Nikki becomes concerned that Harry's emotions are clouding his professional judgement.

Voids
Did wealthy banker Bridget Flannery really die after falling down the stairs? The high profile case pits Harry and Nikki against each other in the court room.

Run
Leo discovers that a woman who fell to her death from a high-rise block was murdered, which begins a baffling investigation. Could she have been working for an undercover policeman?

Shadows
When a crazed shooter goes on the rampage at the university campus where the Lyell Centre is situated, Nikki and Harry find themselves trapped in the building.

Home
Nikki, back home in Cape Town, is hired by a private investigation firm, while Leo and Harry, in the same town attending a conference, find themselves waylaid by more pressing matters.

A Guilty Mind
As Leo and Harry are called to look into three suspicious deaths in one night on the same hospital ward, Nikki, increasingly disturbed by a rape and murder case, finds herself in danger.

Lost
The unearthing of an ancient body in Sheffield uncovers a string of murders three decades ago, a possible miscarriage of justice and painful memories for Leo.

First Casualty
As Nikki investigates the drowning of a young mother, Harry is called to an apparent suicide at a nearby army base; it soon starts to look like the cases may be linked.

Bloodlines
When a human rights lawyer calls Harry to Budapest to investigate the death of a client, they uncover a sinister underworld conspiracy. Soon Nikki and Leo are in Hungary desperately searching for their on-the-run colleague…

Silent Witness doesn't dissapoint, again. The helicopter view of Leo taking care of his cubs, Harry and Nikki, gives us an almost lifelike threeway professional relationship that convinces and is a joy to watch. The sexual tension between Harry and Nikki is interlaced with their failures to set up a family with anyone else. The episode in Budapest is a real rollercoaster but does go over the top somewhat with Harry's persistence to get to the bottom of whodunit. Harry's witty remarks add the right dose of humour in a way that the American one-liners can only aspire to. This is another continuation of a brilliant show that keeps on turning out fantastic episodes.

Silent Witness - one of those compelling drama's that you enjoy so much you watch over and over again. Series 13 and Series 14 in my oponion where the best one's thwy had ever made - with the storyline's becoming even better and even more compelling than ever before.

William Garminara, Tom Ward and Emilia Fox, who play the lead roles as the pathologies are brilliant in this drama. They act each and every episode to their strengths and act them brilliantly. They always act their roles very well and with perfect emotion - and make this drama the masterpeice that is!

Now even though all the episodes are always very good I would just like to point out one. Episode 4 of Series 13, in which a shooting at a university leads to a string of bombs and Emilia Fox being held hostage is one of the most captivating peices of drama I have ever seen and thought it was extrodinary. A real masterpeice of drama.

This drama really is a must buy - and really is one of the best things that is on TV, simply extrodinary :D

This is such a good series and they are so watchable no wonder the series seems to go on and on and on.

The latest iteration on BBC1 just demonstrates that there is a good deal of milage left in Silent Witness.
