However, I would like to know how is it possible that Dr. Riley could not find the truth before Hester does at the end of the book. That does not make much sense.
It seems the only flaw in an otherwise extraordinary book where you will be shaken out of your silence.
If you've never read Anne Perry, this one showcases all that she's capable of.
