Fun:
One of the few games that can be more accurately referred to as a simulation, and sadly we're seeing fewer and fewer of these. This submarine warfare combat at it's best. The graphics are stunning, and the dynamic campaign is challenging and immersive. It's not a game for the casual player though. Much of the time, nothing is happening as you sail across the pacific to and from your destination, but the action, when it happens is intense. There is just once criticism I have, and that is the submarine warfare in the Pacific between the US and Japan was not as intense and extensive as the Uboat war in Europe. It's just not as exciting and there's not as much to do, and the game suffers from that a little.

Fun:
A large program which needs plenty of disc space.It is worth persevering with the finer points of operating the sub to get the best from the game. One thing I am having difficulty with though is how to aim the torpedoes ahead of the surface ships so that they hit. There doesn't seem to be a device for calculating the amount of 'lead' needed (or is it just me!)A very good game for the money

Fun:
I got a quick-reference card but that's it. With some experimentation i'm playing the training missions and they're good. I haven't played SH since SH1 and its come a long way. The internal scenes from the sub are mostly for show and i have a stupid sonar operator who reports a merchant ship medium distance 2 minutes before i get run over by a warship. Despite this tho, the game is interesting and plenty of "DIVE! DIVE!" noises for those hardened blak-n-white movie fans.

Not on my machine
Excellent Service Excellent Delivery. Very Pleased up to the point it crashed my machine and has done several times since then until I gave up.

Don't buy if you operate Windows 7 !
Doesn't work with Windows 7....Ubisoft website says it's been tested but it does work...trust me - even their tech helpline tried and failed to get it working for me..... Read more

Graphicaloly good
The Game is slow in getting to your assigned destination, but once their the game is fairly realistic, and the graphics are excellent.
