Product Description

Book Description

This book by John Cowie presents the unique theory that the 'missing link’ in our evolution was due to the arrival of an extra-terrestrial being or race of beings that bred with and educated our Homo sapiens ancestors. As per Darwin’s theory, those Homo sapiens with the Alien Visitor gene had a significant advantage and began to replace those that didn’t - resulting in the human race that quickly evolved from a single point.

The book argues that this Alien Visitor founded our earliest civilisations. Our incredible legacy from this extra-terrestrial ancestor is explored in relation to the evolution of the computer and the rapidly expanding information superhighway. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From the Author

The aim of my book is to give the reader the opportunity to explore my theory on our evolution, which is based on my first-hand experiences during my many years in the rapidly developing computer and communications industries and my regular journeys past the ancient sites of Silbury Hill and the standing stones of Avebury.

The theories contained in the book avoid all controversial debates, such as 'Nature versus Nurture’, 'Creation versus Evolution’, etc., and leaves the reader to come to their own conclusions.

Some of the fundamental concepts in the book include: -

Around 13,000 years ago, there was a level of knowledge on Earth that exceeds what we know today.

Planets have been discovered to share the same minerals, chemicals etc., and some with similar solar systems to ours. Does intelligent life evolve into something similar to the human being even on a distant planet? Is the human design the blueprint for intelligent live in other parts of the galaxy?? So, the possibility that an Alien Visitor bred with our Homo sapiens ancestors may not be too far-fetched!

We have all inherited this Alien Visitor gene containing its knowledge which has been passed down to us through the generations. Some of us are more alien than others, but we are all using only a fraction of our capabilities.

We can explain fears, superstitions and the origins of our beliefs.

As we slowly recover the Alien Visitor’s knowledge, paradoxically, we can re-trace our steps back to the time when the Alien Visitor arrived on our planet some 13,000 years ago.

I hope you will be able to link some of these concepts to your personal beliefs and if you would like to express your views on any aspects of the book, please contact me at: - feedback@silburydawning.com --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I Have been interested in this subject for a long time. I have read many books on theories of our beginning. But John Cowie seems to have the most logical answer yet. Absolutely a must read for any one who is interested in this subject. Thank You John Cowie for a great experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Link between Stonehenge, the Pyramids and crop circles, 2 Aug 2000
By A Customer
What I really like about Silbury Dawning is the way it made me look at things like Stonehenge, the Pyramids in Egypt and crop circles in a totally different way. I like how the book suggests that all these phenomena are linked.

3.0 out of 5 stars alien visitor gene, 4 Feb 2011

This review is from: Silbury Dawning: The Alien Visitor Gene Theory (Paperback)
as the title suggests it is a book on the theories about humankinds possibilities that some if not most of our make-up is down to aliens genetically manipualting our bodies and minds. i did have high hopes for the book but unfortunately it did not live up to its title, i am unsure whether the author thought we all have altzeimers or he needed to fill the book with something[i am refering to the "alien visitor gene"] which is quoted in just about every page SEVERAL TIMES, for instance i randomly picked 2 different pages and low and behold "alien visitor gene" at leat 3x per page, if you are searching as i am for our true origins this is not a book i would recommend, infact if i hear "alien visitor gene" again i shall scream
