The eight stories are very clear, and they are not so long as to lose a child's interest. The illustrations are very good.

A child would not feel that these stories are "pushing" religion on to them. The stories are simply fascinating and illustrate morals that are applicable to everyone, whatever their background.

This little book contains eight illustrated stories from the lives of the Gurus, as well as a few information boxes relating these tales to modern Sikhism. The stories illustrate key Sikh values, and as such I found it a useful introduction to studying Sikhism, although the book is clearly intended to appeal to younger readers (I am 35 years young!)
